What does a Wedding Planner do?
A wedding coordinator's primary function is to help a couple learn, implement and manage all the necessary tasks required to host a successful wedding event.
The wedding coordinator is hired for the simple reason that they know
the ins and outs of weddings -- the etiquette, the right people to work
with, and the ways to manage within any budget. Wedding coordinators are being used more to help couples save time, money and considerable stress preparing for the single most important day of
their lives.
Do you arrange matches?...or do you only plan and coordinate weddings?
Rings & Roses plans and coordinates weddings, we are not a matchmaking service.
We are meeting the wedding expenses ourselves without help from our parents – can we have a budget wedding?
Yes, you can! There are several options available, Rings & Roses is confident one will be just right for you. Once reserved only for the very rich, today's brides- and grooms-to-be, often busy with dual careers yet wanting to make their wedding uniquely personal, are turning to consultants for help.
How much do your wedding planning services cost - how
much would I have to pay to have a wedding organised through you?
We charge a fee of 15% for our service, however this is offset by the costs savings you will receive from the special rates offered exclusively to us by our vendors and suppliers. Hiring us does not necessarily cost you more than your planned budget.
Do you plan and arrange other functions?
The services of wedding coordinators are also frequently used in the planning of other social events such as anniversaries, engagement parties, graduation celebrations and other similar functions.
We are both from different religious denominations – how can you organize a secular celebration that will not offend any one?
There are several options available to couples. Marriage between religions and cultures is a fast-growing trend which Rings & Roses is highly experienced with.
Will you also organize pre and post ceremony celebrations?
Yes! Rings & Roses is happy to handle all of the celebrations
surrounding your wedding - before, during and after your wedding day.
When is a good time to start planning for a wedding?
Ideally you should begin planning for your wedding 8 to 12 months ahead
of the event. Popular wedding services, venues and suppliers require to
be booked well in advance. However we recognise that this may not always
be the case for whatever reason.
How much time do you require to plan and coordinate a wedding?
You would need to begin discussing your needs with us at least 8-10 months in advance. Once you have decided that Rings & Roses can help, we require you to book our services at least 6 months prior to the wedding date to ensure that we are available and have enough time to plan and execute your wedding to match or
exceed your expectations on the day.
Could you do a part of the wedding? - I have made my own arrangements for the reception, florist, caterers etc.
Rings & Roses prefers to work with our select partners and suppliers and
coordinate the entire event. We have built an excellent working
relationship with our partners over time and guarantee the quality of
their products and services. However, we understand that you may have a
preferred choice of service provider, such as a hairstylist or florist
and we are happy to respect your wishes on a case to case basis.
